OUR STORY
Ellie and Rhys met at Quasar club at the young ages of 13 and 15. At the time, a
chubby emo girl and a show-off chavvy boy… a match nobody would have ever
imagined!
After a few months of friendship (and a whole lot of graft on Ellie’s behalf) she finally got Rhys to agree to becoming her boyfriend, Yay! However, this was short lived and Ellie’s young teen heart was broken when Rhys decided to dump her, on Christmas Eve (rude, I know!)
Fast forward a couple of years… fate found Ellie and Rhys on the same train home from Cardiff. Ellie spotted Rhys on the train (instant butterflies) and decided not to get off at her actual stop for the train, to instead risk the longer walk home and get off at Rhys’ stop in the hopes to “coincidentally” bump into each other. But the plan didn’t quite work as she expected, this chavvy boy was speedy and disappeared before she could catch-up… or did he?? After admitting defeat and starting her long journey back home she heard her name being called from behind her, she turned and there was Rhys, beaming back at her… and well the rest is history!
Here we are, many years later, 4 beautiful children, 2 dogs, our own home and so many incredible memories later getting married.
It may have taken 10 years of persuasion (on everybody’s behalf) but Rhys finally got down on one knee at Ellie’s Graduation and FINALLY asked her to become a Jones!
And now on their 13th Anniversary, with all of their friends and family around them, they will become Mr & Mrs Jones.
